Dr Abigail Wong Kar YenConsultant Paediatrician, Director and Founder of AB Paediatrics.
With over 10 years of medical work experience, our resident child specialist has treated thousands of patients.
Qualifications:
MBBS (Honors) Monash University (Malaysia)
Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom)
National Specialist Registry (Malaysia)
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) trained (United States)
Languages spoken:English, Malay, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese)
Message from our founder:
It has been my dream from childhood to one day become a children specialist and own my own centre. Here we are in 2026 with AB Paediatrics!
As a mother of two boys, I understand both the joys and challenges of raising children. Nurturing a child from birth till adulthood is no easy feat for mothers and fathers. I hope to be a trusted part of each child’s journey: providing thoughtful and personalised care for them and their family.
May every child grow happy, healthy and thriving!

I have recently completed my medical degree at the International Medical University (IMU) Malaysia. While awaiting my next phase of my career, I seek to learn specialist level care in a clinic setting. I'm excited to be part of the team at AB Paediatrics Klinik Pakar Kanak-kanak.
I look forward to meeting and welcoming all our little patients and their families, doing my best to make every visit to the clinic a comfortable and positive experience!
